Ok, so I poured my seacast transom the other day... it went off mostly without a hitch. That seems like it's pretty rugged at least for a small boat like mine. My question is, there wasn't enough to completely fill the transom to the very top. I'm about 3/4" below where it should come up to, there just wasn't enough material. It seems to me that everything structural is fine, and this last 1" will just finish things off. Can I pour fiberglass resin or something in there to just finish off that last 3/4" of an inch? And then do my fiberglass work over the top of the transom to cap it off. Do I need a special compound? Will the resin work? I saw some Fiberglass Resin Jelly stuff at the auto parts store today is that stuff any different?
Hopefully this makes sense
