Fiberglass repair shop In North Carolina

Anybody know of any shops in NC that does gelcoat work? Decided to have my top cap redone in white and just don't think I have the time to tackle the job.

Call Eddie at Water World in Durham. He knows a guy close to their dealership that is good. I took mine to Auto Marine in Garner. Was supposed to have a good rep...my boat sat for 6 weeks. Nothing. All I got from him was jibberish...so I pulled it back home. Needless to say...I cannot recommend Auto Marine in Garner.

I've heard theres on in Garner. I think it's right across the street from AgriSupply on HWY 70 in Garner.

The one in Garner across from Agri Supply is the one that I do not reccommend.

I took my boat there. It took over a month just to get an estimate. Then about 3 more weeks. Now I called this man once a week to get an update and the times I was actually able to get thru to him, I got filled full of BS. My insurance co was waiting on his estimate and he did not care. After they paid.....I told him what I wanted done. He had parked the boat in the back and it sat. And sat. I finally got tired of the runaround and BS and went down there and drove it home. He had not turned a screw in all this time.

He said that what work was to be done..he would not make enough $$ on to justify getting to work on it then. He said he would get around to it when he got caught up. Wrong answer.

Dang! I had really good service from the Garner place...a small place (gouge) in silver flake finish. Fixed it in a few days and the work was immaculate!!! Sorry you had the bad experience.

me too!! He came highly recommended. Thats my luck I guess. All I know he was too busy for my little job and had bigger fish to fry I gathered.
