How do I get the rest of the steering off?

I've started the teardown of my steering so I can redo the dash on my '78
Cajun. I'm a little stumped as to how to proceed. Right now, this is where I am at:

This shows the hub under the steering wheel. Do I need a steering wheel puller to get the rest of this stuff off?

    Thanks!

The "ring" against the dash panel should have studs protruding through to the backside with nuts and washers holding it in place. Remove those and if you have the rack or racks of the pinion it should pull out from there.

Ok, thanks for the advice. Anything in particular I need to be aware of to make sure things go back together properly? I've never done any boat work before and I damn sure don't want to create extra work for myself!

    Thanks again
