I bought a used Champion last spring. After the first time I had it out in the rain all day I noticed the carpet in the bottom of the rod locker was wet. There was no puddle, just a wet spot. It appeared the water came from the hull and seaped up into the locker. Last weekend I installed a recessed foot pedal for my trolling motor. Since I had a big hole in the deck I decided to stick my head down there and take a look. There is a crack, about 12-15", running down the 90 degree bend of the locker. Where the vertical side of the locker meets the hull. It would be easier for me to repair this from the backside, instead of removing the carpet from the rod locker. I have never done this kind of work. What should I use? I probably won't get started on it till spring....
