Ive been browsing the site for awhile and finally registered. Theres a wealth of knowledge here so thanks to those who contribute.

I purchased a 1982 Procraft 1560 last March and I am finally able to get started working on it. Theres a lot I need to do and more that I would like to do, but finances wont permit.

Ive got a couple of soft spots in the floor that I am going to tackle this afternoon. Im hoping for the best that the stringers are intact and that the foam isnt waterlogged, but prepared for the worst.

I am also going to have to tackle rewiring as the last thing I want is to get stranded on the lake due to an electrical problem.

I think with a lot of wetsanding and wax she will shine up nice. I also have the new carpet ready to go soon as I finish the wiring and deck repair. I also want to add a deck extension forward of the console for trolling motor battery storage. This will depend on what I find underneath the deck this afternoon. Ill post pics as I progress.
