    New Clear Coat

    Mine is getting pretty oxidized, and I wan tot fix it before it gets into the gel coat. Where can I get some new clear. What have you used and how has it worked. Please I need help with this.

    Mine is in the same shape I have heard good about Newglass2 but haven't tried it yet. An actual new gelcoat is muy $$$$$$. Search for oxidation and there are lots of posts.

    try to sand the clear back.[asumming its metal flake]. you start with 400 wet snad paper and go to 2000, than buff.

    if that fails you can use vertglas

    its for above the water line and needs to be done every year or other yr.
