The other project I'd like to do, is to extend the decking on this boat (1977 Procraft). Currently, the decking stops really close behind the front seat, as you can see in the picture, that I took off another post on this site (it's the same model boat).



I'd like to extend the decking like this (pleas excuse the artwork, it was done in about 5 minutes )



The compartments up top would be extended the length of the bow deck, and there would be an additional, small compartment, just to the transom side of the live well.

Is this something that can be done as simply as building the extention and screwing it to the existing floor, or is it way more complicated than that? Thanks for the input
