    For Anyone repairing wood !

Anyone repairing or replacing wood in their boat should check out this product. It is called ROT DOCTOR. They make a CPES(clear penetrating epoxy sealant). There claim is that theres penetrates deeper than any other sealant. It also helps other resins and such adhere better. I used this product on all new wood installed in my transom rebuild alond with their epoxy fiberglass resin.

Larry, thanks for the product advice. This is my first post on the boards, and I want you and everyone else to know how much I appreciate the things I've learned from you good folks. I really enjoyed the pictures of your rebuild - outstanding! That link doesn't work anymore, so I'm glad I saw them earlier!
