Is Something Supposed to be connected

My motor is a 1992 Johnson 150 Fast Strike Model #J150GLENC Serial # G03146866
I'm not sure if something is supposed to be connected to this fitting or not its on top of the fuel pump/vro and its just a small barb fitting looks like maybe for the fuel re circ system hopefully you can tell from the pics thanks in advance for any help

Goes to the airbox.

I don't see any open spots on the Air Box Should I tee it in on another Line thanks again

no,that lil pump,purges fuel vapor into the breather for consumption,by the carbs...it just sticks into a hole in the breather/airbox.

Prior maintenance maybe?

must be bought the boat last summer and was rebuilding the carbs and saw that it wasn't hooked up thanks for all of your help
