Fished WABTA tourney there Saturday. We (like a lot of other teams) were on them pretty good in practice, but the bite really died on Saturday. Those of you that fish Madison know that it always takes good weight to win and even get paid...not on Saturday. First place was a respectable 21# for six fish, but it quickly dropped off from there and it only took 14.92lbs for six fish to get a check for 60 teams. We only managed 2 decent keepers and had about 10 shorts. I also managed about a 14 inch sheephead on a 10" power worm. He isn't swimming so well anymore...
