Vera and I met up with everyone at the Perq today, fished from safe light till 3 PM. Water temp between 81 and 82.5 just about everywhere. Put in at the Hertferd ramp and went upriver.

Not much to report. Fish were there, I cold see em, but couldn't get them to bite. Caught shorts on wacky-rigged senkos. Never got a topwater bite going, although I did have a couple chase a rage tail out of the pads, but they never bit. No luck with cranking. No luck in deeper water. Shorts we caught were shallow, 1-2 feet, but in areas that had at least a 6-10' drop off close to the bank.
