BassmasterP,
Question ? I've going up to L.Erie every year for 4 years now around the middle of May, have yet to find any large smallmouth in Misery or Horse Shoe, I would think they would be in there to spawn. Usally nothing but L. Mouth. I spend a lot of time in the bay, since my 171/2 footer doesn't handle big water to well, and neither does my stomach. Any advice?
I doubt if you'll ever catch them in that shallow of water with out deep water near by........in the bay though, if you find baitfish, you'll find the smallies.............from what I've read , they claim it's hard to locate a bedding smally, they'll spawn in up to 25' of water.........hope this helps
Nice smallie ya got and seems to have been a good day for you! I cannot wait to take my rig one day down there!![]()

Are you familar with the area called the W's, I understand they put a boat ramp in there any truth?
I haven't read or seen anything on the net about it.....
