Going to the yough.......

I am heading up to the yough resevior this weekend. Was looking for some tips for fishing for smallies this time of year. (where to fish, what to use etc.) Will be taking the boat. More than likely launching out of jockey hollow. Was there 3 times last year around early to mid summer and did not fair so well. Only got 2 fish out of those 3 trips. Not looking for anyones secret spots just some help. Thanks for any info.
