Loaded in at the Point ramp just after first light. Surface temperature of the water was 85 degrees. Slight south/west wind. Fished some of the mid lake main points and caught several keeper bass and one drum. About 8:30 AM decided to look at Buckhorn creek. When I got to the "no wake" buoys I could see a lot of bait hitting the surface of the water. Caught six nice keeper bass and a nineteen pound channel cat. All of these came of the Storm wild eyed shad 3.5" swimbait. They all came from within 150 yards of the buoys in 5-10 feet of water at the edges of the underwater vegetation.
