Fishing was great yesterday, like always shallow. Even when its 105 degrees outside the most productive fishing will be shallow. Caught about 40 fish. Biggest was 5.42lb and lots of 2-3-4 pounders. Caught a few on white secret weapon spinnerbaits but most productive was black and blue craws texas rigged in about 2 foot of water around the buck brush and willow trees.

--A little note Hugo lake is at 406 about 1 foot below normal but the corps is planning to drop it 8-10 feet to repair a road in Kiamichi park . This will make about 70% of the lake dry because the lake is a shallow lake to begin with. This will be a good time for anglers to learn alot about the lake.
