Water was stained from the wind blowing and temps are running from 67.8 at the west end and 65.3 at the deep end by the dam. Wind was out of the south about 15 mph. They are biting on the south shore of the west end (no wake area) shallow between the trees and the shoreline. Looks like they are getting ready to bed. I boated two fish one went 2 lbs and the other 3 lbs. Lost several, broke off three and bad hook set on a couple because I didn't have the flippin rod or worm rod in the boat so I was ad-libbing with one of my crankbait rods. They were hitting a Sweet Beaver in Mossy Mud color, Texas rigged and a 3/16 oz Tungsten weight. Throwing it up on the shoreline, then bringing it out about 2' and letting it settle towards the bottom. There was a transition line at this 2' junction between the clear and stained water. They either hit it on the fall or with in the first two twitches. Water depth that they were holding at was right around 2 foot. There was some top water action on the north shore but it sounded more like crappie than bass. I tried buzz baits, slow rolling a spinnerbait, jig, crank bait, ring shad, worm and Sweet Beaver on the north shore, but couldn't get anything to hit until I went to the south shore.
