My son said he heard that the fishing in Yeopim had been good this year. That's third or fourth hand info. We fished over there a couple of months ago and picked up a few small ones.

The Yeopium is just like the other rivers here... it all depends on how they feel for that day. One weekend it takes close to 20lbs to win the next weekend 10lbs does the job. Things should pickup with the cooler weather we are suppose to be getting comes in. According to he NCWC the best two rivers are the Little River and Yeopium. Good luck
How did you make out on the Yeopium last Sunday? I ask because we had a tournament out of Pembroke Creek and ran to Yeopium and right into your tournament. Started for one of my favorite banks and LD was there, went on up and three boats there. We only was able to catch three keepers and a lot of short fish.
It was tough, LD won the tx with a little over 8 lbs. I had 4 fish for 7 lbs. I stayed in Yeopim Creek all day, caught a ton of short fish. Lots of grass in the back of that creek. We have 1 tx left for the year, at SML. Can't wait to get up there....
