Our 1st club (New South Bass Club) event of the year at Norman this past Sunday. Partner and I finished tied for 3rd with another team with 7lbs and 14 oz. Their big fish was larger than ours so they took the tie break and the 3rd place money.... We caught our first 2 on rip rap (150) with crawdad cranks. the next 4 or so on docks around the hothole mouth with finese worms on 1/4 oz. jighead. Our bigger spots came off of main lake point with a carolina rigged lizard. Tough day with wind howling for everyone as James Ogle (James O.) could attest to since he and his partner just joined our club this year and I am glad they did. They had one real nice spot and a few smaller ones. I think close to 10lbs won it with big fish (LM) was around 4 lbs. I am sure the offical results will be in next weeks Sunday W-S journal.... Next stop: Lake Jordan march 19th.....check back with ya'll then....
