On 24 Jan during our New York BASS Chapter Federation (N.Y.B.C.F.) annual awards banquet we crowned the Long Island Bassmasters as our N.Y.B.C.F. 2008 Conservation Club of the Year.

Unfortunately they were unable to attend our annual awards banquet so I wanted to use this post to recognize their efforts. They spent considerable manhours and personal funds to stock LMB in Lake Ronkonkoma and their members also worked a great invasive species removal project for Water Primrose.

For their efforts they received the below plaque and $400 to put toward their next conservation project.
