    He's Alive...

Saw Snover today on Squam. He was pre-fishing and nhbass and I had a club tournament. Ya know, Snover isn't a bad guy at all. He's a good hearted kid who sometimes brings things on himself...we all realize it...that said, if he posts on here again can we just maybe remember he's just a kid? Kinda like Travis, only older...most of us are a lot older than those guys, but if we crush them all the time we'll be left with just a bunch of old men around here...

Well said Jim! Sometimes it becomes a feeding frenzy on an easy prey and everyone wants to jump in.

Thanks Jim. Glad to finally meet you as well. How did you and Travis do on Squam that day? I struggled to find them, finally found a few in a small cove, but couldn't buy a bite earlier in the morning.

We sucked....but almost everybody else did, too. Winning weight 11 lbs, next was 8 and change, I had 7.75, Travis had same, but dead fish put him behind me.

    Thanks Al.

Bummer. He did tell me you guys had 7 and change. I assume a 5 fish limit? I struggled trying to find them, but I did run a bit more than half of the lake, so I'm happy to have at least accomplished that. I think our best 5 would have run about 8 pounds, we found some smallie triplets hanging under docks in a small cove, all pushing 2 lbs (which had me dumbfounded, we caught them around 12:00), and I had two largies about 1.5 lbs each fishing along the drops of lilly pads in another cove.
