The Other Pleasant Lake

Went to Pleasant Lake in Deerfield today 6/6/10. Launched at 7am and off the water at 11am. As you can see the weatherman f$%&#d up again! I thought it was supposed to rain Saturday and Sunday was the better of the two days. Oh well!
I caught 8 fish and my son got 5. My biggest was 3.2 LM and he got a 3.4 LM. The rain was coming down pretty good when we left.

Nice fish. And let's not talk about how bad the weatherman totally EFFED my weekend. I skipped a trip to Newfound on Saturday because I thought the weather was supposed to be crappy then and nice on Sunday. Screw you weather man!!!!

What I do not understand is the fact that they have more data, radar and stats available to them today than they ever had and the farmer can look out the window and do a better job.

How is the ramp and parking there Bugs ?
Never been there always looking for new places.

Brand new ramp. I think about two years old. Parking for maybe 10 vehicles and trailers. Porta-Potties. Nice one-way horseshoe type driveway/parking lot!

Parking for more would be better, but at least the state installed a new ramp someplace! And, it's probably a good thing they did it when they did since the Goobernor wants to rape the ramp fund.

Well after about 8 hrs of being broken down in a parking lot I made it to pleasant lake on Sunday.I got there just before 4 pm and untill just before dark me or my buddie had not caught a bass then I finally got one to bite a jig a got a nice 5.12 lg and rite after that my buddie got a 2.10.and we called it a day a very long day

I don't know Bugs? So far this year I think I can catch just as many in the parking lot and not lose as many jigs

You need to TIE the jigs to your line BEFORE you throw them in the water so you don't lose them!

That 5lb'er was your reward, I guess. Great catch to end a tough day for you.
