nothing major but was able to to make a few casts into a overflow brook that leads into a local pond.I tied on some new string and wanted to make sure everything worked ok. I had to laugh and think about my Florida though. Where there's usually no water you could read a book underwater it was so clear. In Florida they would call it Crystal River !
I also got in my first cast of the year yesterday
I made it out to Winnisquam to the new launch for opening day for salmon.
not much for open water yet but I did catch a 17 inch lake trout
not exactly bass fishing but I'll take what I can get.

I used to troll for hours at first ice out for salmon and trout for years in a 14' aluminum boat with a 10 HP tiller steer motor. We ain't afraid, Winnipesaukee, Winnisquam bring em on. We got a 14 footer!Didn't catch many fish but had a great time. Kinda miss it some time!

We have been fishing for years out of my friend's 14' aluminum boat with a 15 hp tiller motor. That thing has been everywhere fresh and salt.
This year he has stepped it up with a 16 footer
