Have a 05' 225 HO E-Tec and run a 26" Raker, should this have the plastic exhaust ring on it for a better hole shot and if I drop down to a 25" 4 blade should I put one on. I was told I should. Does anybody have any opinions on this. Thanks.

The Raker is a thru hub exhaust prop, a Renegade is an over the hub exhaust prop (smaller barrel) if you find you are getting too much blow out then install a weed ring/exhaust ring.
Champion I thought you can not put that ring on a Raker prop. I don't think it will fit, But it will on the four blade models, I think the gap between the LU and barrel are bigger on these props..
Maybe I was reading that with my bad eye !!!!
