    Merrymeeting 4/25

Ramp stinks and the Lake is windy and cold but the fishing was fair. Water only mid forties but got a Smallmouth on jerkbait in the a.m. Caught 3 more during the day biggest nearly three pounds. Mac has a T there this week so can't say much more just in case!

    Re: Merrymeeting 4/25 (NH Phil)

Now that the Tournament is over, Phil will be more than happy to let you in on what we caught them on. I caught quite a few during my T and actually won. Only being able to weigh in 2 fish is a drag but I still won. I released a couple of 2 1/2 pounders. My 2 fish weight was a little shy of 8 pounds. I fished the points for 7 hours. Caught them in 5 feet to 25 feet. They only were hitting when the wind was severe. No wind....no bite.
