Took a day off and glad I did so. Went to Beaver lake and first cast of the day hooked a good one only to find out it was a big gizzard shad. I then caught three good ones on a jig but overall slow. I then hit the windy side and it was like a light switch. I caught several good quality bass on a jerkbait to include two of the biggest crappie I ever caught. Those two fish will feed my family of three they were that big. I had a great day on the water. Temps were 49 on the main lake and up to 51 by the time I left. Hard to believe I was fising Mid March in shorts and t-shirt
