Tony (Astro-T) took me down to Burchard in his boat. The water temps ranged from 45 at the dam in the morning to 56 in the backs of the arms in the late afternoon. Fishing was tougher than one would have suspected under the warming conditions. Maybe it was the switching winds that blew fairly hard out of the South and quickly switched to the North and then to the East. Anyway we caught a couple dozen with the largest being 4.25 lbs. Plenty of fish were in the 3+ range. All but 2 fish (jigs) were caught on jerkbait.
