Wife was on my case to get out of house.....So I left ......Gates dont open till 6am so I had time to sleep Got there just before 6 and gates already open they must be opening them extra early now............Water temps still in mid 70's to upper 70's in very shallow spots. Fianally got chance to move around lake..........Weeds themselves are sparce but are in deeper water in some areas. Moss holding in very shallow waters (2ft or less) did use a SPRO and had 2 bow up...one took but bad hookset .

Worked the NW side of lake with Crank & swim bait.....caught several on it over 15"....no dinks on that bait tossed a jig for while and left area to go back south........used swim bait in area around wood......several fish came off the bait and still no donk....well maybe one at 14.somethin ............sun coming out and partly cloudy for a bit and bite was tight to weed/moss/wood.....especially outside edge of it. Switched to Shakey head worm and nailed a nice 17" fish with HUGE belly for its size.......weighed in and was around 3.6-3.75 .........continued using shakey worm heading back up lake and only one short bitter....took it and ran and set hook.....pulled tail of worm off............Got back to the island and used Swim bait again.......caught another 15"+ fish between wood on drop off to deeper water.........last fish of day........left lake by 11:30.

eventful day.....tried swim bait with good luck and still boated around 10 fish or so
