Can't wait. First trip out since my little medical issue. Tryin' not to get TOO excited!!
Paul and I had a blast on Thursday. We got to Shell Knob at about 9:00am. The water
was dead calm and we had overcast skies. Paul wanted to try the wacky worm
shallow first, so we went to some of our favorite spawning coves. We caught several
males shallow while it was calm. Then in the afternoon with wind picked up. In fact, it
started to howl pretty good. We decided to go hunt for some bigger fish out on the main
lake points. That turned out to be a pretty good plan.
