Fished it today, first time this year. 7 total, 2 keepers 2 3/4# and a 1 1/2#. Think I should have gotten there earlier!!! oh yea, one very large catfish I never could turn around

Took the day off today and hit Cagles Mill/Cataract. Did some crappie fishing, but this trip was mainly to identify points and cover for next year. (Gotta love the new GPS w/Fishing Hotspots SD Card!!) Caught about 10 small crappie and that was it. Fished 10-18' of water, most caught in 14' fishing 12' deep using minnows under floats and custom tied jigs tipped with minnows. Wind was fun to fight, but the temps were pleasant, and it sure was better than a day at work!!

Think there are a zillion small crappie in that lake, I went to Raccoon instead and scratched out 8 keepers along with a 4# LM. Wind was really a treat but windy banks is where the fish bit, think my TM battteries were a little tired by the end of the day
