yesturday me and my dad made a 13 hour float trip down the tippicanoe river...we floated from the oakdale dam down to the bridge.......we started out fishing 2" twister tails and were catching a few here and there.....so i decieded to tie on a zara spook puppy and my dad put on a torpedo and that was what they wanted....we caught right around 100 smallies with most of them being 12"-14"my dad caught 2 that were over 3lbs and right towards the end of the trip i caught my biggest smallmouth ever...it went 4lbs 5oz and this thing was a hawg.....went it hit my bait i thought i had just a average size one on....then all of a sudden it just started pulling line off my bait caster and i knew it was big cause i always have a pretty tight drag.........so i am having the best week ever....the other day i catch my personal best largemouth that was over 6lbs and yesturday i caught my personal best smallie........hopefully we get to go do it again saturday....weidner21
