Here are a couple of areas that may help you. I am not sure where you will launch, but go to the East/West Toho canal, go inside the reed line to the right entering the canal (the canal is in the southwest part of the lake). Fish the grass between the outside reed line and the inside pads/reed line. Use a 3/16 or 1/4 oz weight with 4" zoom worms (junebug or watermellon/red) in the grass, grass and reeds, grass/pads mixed. There are a lot of beds in the grass, etc. you can also fish the back side of the reeds between the grass and outside reeds. You can fish all the way north on the west side and you should do well. The key is the grass also mixed with pads or reeds. Have a good trolling motor and work through the grass field. The other area is Boggy Creek flats in the northwest corner of the lake. Fish both the reeds deep inside and the grass and reeds just inside the outside reed line. Hope you catch a bunch.
thank you i will try that!! appreciate everything!![]()

HARDHEAD, would you happen to be doin the cracker boys tourny??
yup, it will be my first tourny with that club. how do you like it?
FYI....From what I hear, Cracker Boys puts out a good tourney. I always hear about there big fish pot being a good payday. But I do believe there big fish pot is a 20 spot so that would make for a nice check. Do they have a web site? I wouldn't mind fishin there Tourney. It is this weekend 2/26 right? I may just fish it if anyone can shoot me some info on it. Time and location of ramp along with entry fee amount.![]()

well i have never done one but from what i have gathered from there website is: Your first tourny will be $110. Its a team format and $15 per person, $30 per team for membership dues. Then each tourny is $60 + $20 for big bass (@ about 90 boats * 20 = about $1800 for big bass). You must fish either the Jan or Feb tourny to join the club, so u basically must fish this saturday.
the website is http://www.crackerboys.net
kicker has it right, in order to fish anymore tournaments after the first 2 (jan.&feb.) you must already be a member. I've been with crackerboys for over 6 seasons now and can say that if your interested you'll be fishin against some of the best around! Bring it boys, we'd love the competition! best payback trail around. and the real money is in the classic! . fyi, if you decide to fish get there early as signups will take a few. any more questions give me a holler., J.W.Contat
I am fishing in my first season and can tell you I joined for thier paydays. Big money for your buck! But !, get in this one or you will wait til next season!![]()
