    High Water!!!!

Was off from work yesterday so the wife and I took a drive around to check out the local flooding from the weekends rains. Gotta say nobody should worry about the water levels on Brewer being low this year, the water is up on the edge of the parking lot at the south ramp.

Also, didnt take Conway long to get filled up since they just shut the gates a week or two ago, its up so high that a lot of the docks on the lake are completely under water! I'm curious to hear from others around the state about water levels on their area lakes. Hows SWEPCO?? I bet its up high enough now that you wont have problems launching anymore.

If you can get a copy of the Sentinel Record this morning you will see a photo of Brady Moutain. It is way under water. That says a lot since Ouachita is 40,000 acres and was still a couple of feet below full pool before the rain came in. There was 9.17" rainfall recorded at Blakely Dam in 3 days.

I'll keep an ear to the ground about SWEPCO. It was still down quite a bit weekend before last, but they got a substantial amount of rain (and ice ) this past weekend. I'll try to find out.

i dont know if swepco will fill back up heard that it had a "lil" hole in the dam hence y there is water that is pumped back into the lake from below the dam cause it is leaking out and beaver is full but it was really full a week ago now they have it back to full pool lvl. and it is muddy in the mid lake area and i bet it is muddy everywhere with the way they pulled the lake last week..
