    Re: Lake Dardanelle (HeavyMetalBassinKing)

Went out last weekend and caught a few, but it wasn't great........dropping from 80 degrees to 50 degrees overnight usually isn't too good on the fish

Bass are getting shallow. Try sizmic toads in the grass and crankbaits around the rocks Shallow running crankbaits around wood also working. Fish are definitely looking up good luck

BG, I don't know what to tell ya about fishing Dardanelle this time of the year......usually from here on out, I am duck hunting when I get the chance.....

I would say spinnerbaits, jigs, and cranks mainly.....
Now towards the Spring, it is all JIG AND PIG out here on Dardanelle

Good luck and give us a report when ya get back

    Re: Lake Dardanelle (HeavyMetalBassinKing)

I cought a three pounder and a short fish flipping the thin grass against the bank with a senko. It was very windy to say the least. I tried the cranks and the spinnerbaits with the wind like it was but had no luck. The fish I cought were in a protected pocket. Overall I liked the lake, it's a nice change of scenery from Greers Ferry.
