Any info on wheeler I havent fished there since the first year of the bass weekend series . i got a club tourney next weekend and need some help

With all that has gone on the last couple of weeks , wheeler has had it all. Its been up then down then back up with almost muddy conditions. As of right now its starting to get back to normal. Most the fish (in my case) have already spawn. Check points and docks. Don't forget to check the ledges, they should be headed that way.

Tracey, I went last wekend after the storms. saw a bunch of fish up trying to put down some eggs. I am basically flipping and flipping only. Water has been up and down, now back up and current has slowed to a trickle. I have been catching about 30 decent keepers a day, nothing over 3.5 but all solid 2+ fish. The weed beds are good now as well for flipping. If water is up they have been as far back as they can get. Saw some evidence of shad spawn as well getting cranked up. Going to the ledges this weekend and try the heavy spinnerbait out. But if you are on decatur end, take of flipping. Look for areas with hard bottom, you should be able to whack them.
