08 225 HO trim adjustment ???

Everytime I get in some rough water the lil ring thats right behind the hydraulic steering for adjustment of the level of high trim moves and wont let me trim up high , so I have to adjust it agian and then everything works fine . Is there anyway to set it and lock it down ? Thanks in advance !!!!!!!!

Make sure the bolts aren't backing off the cam for the tilt limit switch.

You need to look under the belly pan on the tilt tube. The cam should have two bolts holding it to the tube. They should be allen heads. Should be a no cost fix for you if you take it in to your dealer.
