Places to stay at Guntersville

Me and a buddy plan on coming to fish Guntersville in April. Can anyone recommend a nice place to stay for a week. Any info would be appreciated...Bob

We just got back yesterday. We stayed at the Hampton Inn on the lake. It was one of the cleanest places with the nicest people I have ever stayed at in my life, and they had electrical outlets in the parking lot for your boat.

How was the fishing?

We caught about 40 in 3 days with the best going at 6lbs 2oz. All were caught in 3-5' of water on traps. Great times!!

the holiday inn in guntersville is really nice...by far the best place i have stayed at...state park is really nice but expensive...and creekstone lodge is kind of isolated, but a real nice place to stay and relax...and the rates are good too....

Thanks for the info.I booked at the holiday inn in Guntersville. I even received a govt. discount so we got the room for $70 a night....Bob
