The prespawn period usually begins around the 2nd week of May . Bass seem to stack up just on the drops in the coves and in Big Run . Alot of the bigger fish will be caught out on the old road beds as well as the southern points on the east side of the lake . Tube baits and deeper diving crank baits will be your better picks . Dont rule out a good 1/2 - 3/4 oz spinner bait , they can be the ticket ! Good luck on your trip .
