    New Lure Turner

Here is the lure turner I built yesterday. Went with the 3 RPM motor as was suggested. Would have some lures done, but the eyes I ordered were apparently too big... website said 6mm and I needed 4 or 4.5 mm eyes, so have to wait a few more days on 'em now Anyways, I got a 3/8" dowel rod from wallyworld, and alligator clips and epoxied them into the dowels and into the coupling... Not the best, but it turns alright.

Looks OK, but you could have went longer on the pipe and opened up some space for more baits.

I ordered a motor used for a mirror ball off ebay. It has worked well for the past two years that I've been using it.

I found an old microwave for like ten bucks, and bought it for the motor. Mike, all I can say is wow , but at least for the time being, 4 at a time should be enough. If it isn't, I can always get a length of pipe and glue it into the coupling and support it on the other side and increase capacity

I made a small DC speed control, Using a potentiometer to control the DC voltage and a AC to DC rectifier to control an electric window regulator motor I had laying around.
