    Using Wheel Weight Lead??

I have a huge source for wheel weight lead. Can this be processed to useful lead or should I stay away from it.

What I heard is that I could melt the weights then add beeswax and draw the crap off the top. Then I would be good using it in my bottom pour furnace.

    Any comments or suggestions?

If I were you...I would melt it all over a burner and skim all the junk off the top. Then pour into ingots to use in your pot. This makes it so all the dirt doesn't get into your bottom pour spout.
