    Best method to powdercoat spinnerbaits???

I have recently started pouring and building spiinerbaits and weedless jigs and was wondering what the best method you guys have found to get the spinnerbaits coated. The jigheads are no problem, just dip them into the jar but this doesn't work so well with the spinners. Just looking for a better method so as to not have to waste so much powderpaint.

I heat mine in toaster oven at about 280 grab them with a pair of plyers and take a small paint brush dip it in powder paint and tap brush over bait without touching it turning bait until I get an even coat. You have more time than you think. It also helps if you tap powder once after removing from jar so the first tap doesn't clump on bait.

I use my fluid bed to powder coat. I made two cups specifically for spinner baits. If you have a fluid bed that is. I took two cups and cut a slot down the side about 3/4 the way down to accomodate the wire. I don't lose any piant when it is running and allows me to slide the wire through the slot to paint the head.

I did the same but I always got paint on my shaft so I just put a small piece of tape over the shaft and the hook and dip away. I got a fairly large fluidized bed.
