Looking to find out if someone knows this lure. I catch a bunch of fish on this lure and like to find or get some more. I paid a $1 for this at a pawn shop 3 yrs ago.Bait is 2 1/2'' not counting the bill.

FISHING FOR SOULS AND HUNTING FOR CHRIST![]()
I think thats a home made bait.It looks like one of the flat side crankbait blanks a guy was selling on ebay years ago.he also sold the coffin bills.
its not a poes for sure. some kind of petey copy? my guess...
Definately looks home made. Is that twist wire coming up through the lip?
Are the line ties and hook hangers twisted wire or cotter keys?
To me on first glance it looks to be a TN Killer or Perrys by Perry Schockley, but then again, it sorta doesnt too...
it is original paint, as lip was cut in after painting, and lip looks to be die cut lexan material like Shockley baits, but doesnt look like Perry's paint work or eyes, maybe an earlier bait or most likey another small maker...
Has no markings or signature on bait at all?
agreed seeing how the line tie under lip is run and what the belly weight and rear hook config (screw eye??) is will be telling...
I zoomed in on it, appears to be twisted stainless and the lip looks to be saw cut after zooming in my guess would be a small buiders tn killer copy as was said, a 1.00 even for a copy was a hell of a deal if it runs true!
Looks a little like a sudden death lure that is sold here in Ky and ohio.
Do you know where I can get some pics of these?
You might want to check out Tim Earick's baits too. I have some of his baits and his "rootbeer" paint looks EXACTLY like that. It might be some of his early work....
Go on Youtube and type in Tim Earick and you'll find his contact info (plus a cool video on his baits)
