I am having problems correctly ballasting cranks. Balsa was a lot easier because it was very forgiving in ballasting. Resin cranks are a whole different animal! The top bait is weighted with two seperate 1/16oz weights and it is a slow sinker. The bottom one I cannot remember how much I used the first time but it too was a slow sinker (it caught fish while I was testing it). Now it has been re-ballasted with about 1/16oz so hopefully that works. I have a shallow diver that has caught about 20 fish that is a slow floater but the records of how it was weighted were destroyed in a Biblical basement flood.
