painting this pattern using only createx colors

    http://www.tacklewarehouse.com...iview

The color I am trying to match is crystal crawdad. Could someone give me some ideas of color mixes to match that that orange and red?

I'd print the pic, take it to hobby lobby etc and use craft paint. You will match it up perfectly. Just thin the paint to your needs.

I have painted it before. If I am not mistaken you should:

    Base white coat
-cover entire bait with transparent brite yellow
-lightly mist transparent sunrise yellow to darken the brite yellow you just sprayed
-spray transparent orange on the back and fade it on the sides
-Lightly shoot transparent brite red over the orange until you get the desired shade
transparent black on the back till it gets dark enough for your liking.

    hope this helps

the baits in the pic are lighter than they appear.....

The only variance I might suggest is use transparent yellow ochre for the yellow layer. It is Auto Air and not Createx, but if you are buying Createx, they should be able to get that color as well.

That way you don't need to spray two yellows.
