I have a code 27 on my 2000 e225 ficht engine (model# E225PHLSSC / serial# Go4815395) voltage at 700 rpm 14 volts climbs to 14.45 volts. What is the cheapest way to repair?
Thanks,

That sounds like an ECU/EMM problem. DFI Technologies can fix it the cheapest.
14.5 Volts is a good reading. I would call DFI technologies 1-866-298-1510
and they will help you with the troubleshooting and if necessary they can repair it for you as Bassmeister said.

I wonder if he could run some extra electric stuff to get the volts down and still run it , dfi is not cheap, if they have to repair it.

Code 27 means the EMM charging voltage is above about 15.5 volts, regular charging is about 14.5 volts.
Often it is the battery that is at fault and the quick way to check is to substitute a known good one, or temporarily attach one in parallel and connect a digital meter directly to the battery posts. Make sure all connections are shiney clean, not just "looking clean" and don't use any winguts on the batteries.

I changed all my wing nugs from batteries. I only have 1 fish finder hooked up to the cranking battery my other finder and sounder do not work. I plan on buy a fish finder/chartpotter combo in December. Is it anything I can do to the EMM like blowing out the waterline for small pebbles? I will take all suggestions on this matter.
Thanks to all,

If you have small pebbles that far up in the cooling system you've got bigger problems than the emm.
