Have any of you used the Pop Max knock offs that predator baits sells? If so how have they worked out
I took some up to the boundary waters this spring and smashed the smallies. I have caught a couple of fish over 6 lbs. on them out of some of the smaller lakes around here. They seem to work really well...I think they would be beneficial for a more subtle profile as they don't pop as loud as some of the other poppers I have thrown. Kind of similar to a chug bug as far as how much noise they put out.
I've used them and like em a lot. As mentioned above they are kinda like a finesse popped in that they are subtle. They are a little harder to walk then say a Sammy but when you get the motion down they walk very tight in place. My very 1st fish was over 5lbs so that kept me interested. I think you will find them to your liking.
I bought some and had Adam Warren (shaggy1081) paint em up for me......the photofinish shad's were the ones he did for me. I love em.
