Where are you guys buying blanks?

Where is the best place to buy some blanks? Don't need anything really expensive right now. Still learning and practicing.

If you are practicing, buy some Mudhole sanded or non sanded blanks. That's about as cheap as you can get. They are grab bag blanks, but every once in a while you get a real winner.

Their tropical series blanks are under $20 and are cool to build for the wife or daughter.

    +1!

The $15 blanks are great for learning, plus you can fish them. They just don't have a wide selection.

Lance at swamplandtackle.com may still have some of his yearly specials available - they run $15 - $25 and are first quality CastAway overruns.

Once you're ready to build a more expensive blank, give me a shout. I've got a line of blanks I am having produced for me specifically designed for bass and inshore salt (having them made 7'3"+ so you can get a little extra length than your normal 7' bass rod if you want - or you can cut it off). I'm not going to advertise all over, but I am selling blanks to other builders who are interested.
