    rod repairs?

I've got several rods in the shed...some older, some brand new that have an eye or two missing, maybe a tip missing or broken off....I have always wanted to build a rod, but really don't have the time right now....what would a guy need though to at least start playing around with eyes and the such...maybe just for doing some repairs of my own stuff? I know you can go to wally world and get replacement tips and eyes....but there has to be a better source...maybe just a link or two with supplies or info some of you may have?

If you are referring to Bob McKamey at Custom tackle, he's been part of MudHole now for a bout a year or so. Custom Tackle in TN no longer exists.

Find an old rotisserie motor from a grill. It's pretty much ready to go. Cut some V's into some 1X4's and mount them on a longer 1X4. Felt the V's, make sure the whole critter is level. (I built an adjustment so I could raise/lower the motor to make it level. A PVC cap and some thumb screws to hold the blank and your good to go...
