i need new cork on an old rod

Is there anyone in the Raleigh/Durham NC area that knows how to re-cork an old fly rod i have. It was my grandfathers and i really just want it for display but the cork is in pretty bad shape. i would like to deal with someone local if i can. How much $ does this sort of thing cost? Also the reel is really dirty and needs cleaning any tips? thanks Blair

i would keep it with the old patina intact. after all your granddad held on to that cork handle. you can't replace that.
