    Where to buy split grips

I am going to build 12 rods and have struggled to find online, a supplier for split grip cork sets. I want the butt cap and the handle grip. No foregrip. Any ideas?

    Thanks,

    Greg

Re: Where to buy split grips (wassupc)

I would first email Lance at Swampland (lance@swamplandtackle.com) and ask (probably not listed on his site) if they have specifically what you want. Next, I would email Custom tackle supply( Bob- customtackle@united.net), Scott (http://www.smsrods.com/), and then if all that did not work I would go online and check out Mudhole, Jann's Netcraft, or Barlows. I would not be afraid to email directly and ask for what you want.

As said above, call Lance at Swampland. They have a pre-made cork split that comes with the butt cap. GREAT guy to deal with. I've never asked Bob at Custom tackle if he has anything like that but I'd bet he does if you call him. Either of them will take very good care of you.

    Hey Obed

The swampland boys want to know why you did not review the complimentary bottle of Swampland Lagnaippe Color Preserver for all interested in Swampland products. Was it too hot for you norphers?

Also they forgot to put your complementary micro ties in your package. Get in contact, they will send them.

    Obed

I met them a few months ago when they came by my shop to learn how to build rods. I taught Bill everything he knows about micro guides.

Seriously we have become good friends since, and we converse almost daily. Bill just happens to be the best cook in the whole Baton Rouge metroplex.

I'll see you in High Point.

I guess I can let you slide on being a midder if you live closer to Arkansas than iowa.
