Got my rods in from George!

Finally got my rods back from George, and they are awesome! He did a great job rebuilding them. I can't say enough about the craftsmanship, and everything turned out just the way I wanted. Below are a few pics. I highly recommend George for new rods or rebuilds. I also put my new Lamiglass rod in there because it is a little different as well. It was a special run built by Lamiglass for Tackle Tour. Only about 20 of them out there. ~shade

Cheaper to keep a kid in tourney fishing than paying attorneys to keep them out of jail !!

Alot of people can say they are a custom rod builder, myself included, but George is "The Custom Rod Builder".... you will never find a better person or builder

The worst thing about the Lamiglas is now if you like it and want another your SOL .....

Thanks for posting the pictures! I'm glad that you were satisified with your rod rebuilds. It is always more challanging that building them new, but it can be done. You should have some great tools now that you will give you a lot of good fish stories to tell!

Have fun with your new pets.........George

George - awesome rods. If i may ask - are those matagi trim rings and such on the butts? i've been seen them on a few rods and like the look.

It makes the rods look "finished", and you can balance it as well.

Yes, sir. They are the Matagi weight systems. They are a bit spendy, but they are the best and most attractive that I have found. I have another one that I'm going to try, made from machined brass with a black, rounded button on the end. Looks pretty good. I'll have to get me another flippin' blank so I can use it and report back. I see no reason why it won't perform admirably!

    Good luck......George
